HOW MANY KINDS OF GRACE ARE THERE?

I always thought grace was grace. Recently I read that there is prevenient grace. Does anyone know other kinds of grace that need to be studied? selahV

prevenient grace is the arminian view of grace, I believe John Wesley was the first to point to this type of Grace...It is seen as the grace that everyone has in them and is what gives them the opportunity to respond to God's universal call...all that to say, I completely disagree with all of it. For we are dead in sin, there are none that do good and none search for God. (Eph 2:1, Romans 3)

Hi there Seth! None that do good, none that search for God. Hmmmn. So what kind of grace gives us what is needed to be quickened? SelahV

the grace of God giving us the faith to believe in Him and also opening our hearts to believe like Lydia.

The references are Acts 16:14 and as far as faith, Phil 1:29 says that faith has been granted to us, and then 2 Peter 1:1 states that we received a faith, by the righteousness of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Good questions.
